Kentucky Wedding Photographer | The Grand

Last Saturday’s wedding celebration took us to Covington and parts of Cincinnati as Ashley and Chris exchanged their vows in front of 250 guests at The Grand. I teamed up with Ian Lozada from Lexington KY to second my coverage and brought along my intrepid UD intern Sarah to make sure that the day ran smoothly.

We started at the Marriott Rivercenter for getting ready pics where Kelly Ledford-Weidus of Cincimakeup.com performed her magic.

I always recommend that couples see each other before the wedding, so as to limit the amount of time that the formals take up following the ceremony. On Saturday, Chris and Ashley saw each other for the first time at Drees Pavilion, overlooking the beautiful Cincinnati skyline. We also captured the HD video and audio of the first look. It is always great to be able to record such moments through photography and videography. I’ll publicly release the video once Chris and Ashley have had their Premier showing at our studio.

Ashley is a big Cincinnati Reds fan. So much so, that she wore the Reds Garter for the reception. After our first look and family formals at Drees Pavilion, we went to the Great American Ballpark for some fun Bridal formals.

Everyone wanted to stop by the Holy Grail Tavern since we were right at the Reds Stadium forĀ  a celebratory toast.

The ceremony and reception were held at the Grand in Covington.

Ashley teared up as her mom read an self-authored poem.

I love this shot from the balcony overlooking the dance floor.

We once again teamed up with Live Photo Booths to provide reception coverage and onsite printing options for the guests.
