I have to say that photographing my first Muslim Wedding in Dayton yesterday was a blast, from the sword wedding entry to the couple being given keys to a brand new SAAB to Souha being “showered” with jewelry gifts…this wedding was very different and very enjoyable. I’ll post some more images in a couple of days after I’ve had a chance to rest from the three weddings this weekend.
The wedding photography started in downtown Dayton, where Souha tried to use Maher as a prop. Success!!
After the formals, the entry into the wedding chapel involved a traditional sword display. Very cool!!!
Speaking of the aforementioned bling-bling shower, here is Souha with a part of her collection…
…and as Bob Barker once famously remarked, “A Brand New Car!” Obviously Souha was overcome with joy.
