While on vacation in Florida this week, I stopped by the Red Sox complex in Ft. Myers. This was the first day of the Spring Training and luckily we were able to get into the complex without much delay. Before we were to leave, one of the most prominent former Red Sox players came out to talk with the fans. For those of you who don’t know this player, he is one of the greatest Red Sox players having played in the 40s and 50s with the likes of Ted Williams, Bobby Doerr, and Dom DiMaggio. He also managed the Sox in the 60s and in 1980. Of course I am referring to no other than Johnny Pesky and he is my best new buddy..jpg "Max Surikov meets Johnny Pesky")
