Cincinnati Wedding photographers at Mt. Echo Park
Katie, my intrepid second photographer and I traveled to Western Cincinnati yesterday for John and Cindy’s wedding. When I met with John and Cindy, the original plan was not to see each other before the wedding, however based on the fact that late evening September weddings in Cincinnati are usually not conducive to any post ceremony environmental group shots, we decided to do bridal shots before hand. It is my personal preference that my couples to see each other before the wedding, so as to reduce the time for the after ceremony formals. The great thing about the bride and groom seeing each other before the ceremony is the setup of what I call a “first look”. The way it works is that we capture the “first look” on the bride and grooms faces when they first see each other on the wedding day. This worked out great yesterday.
The best part of yesterday’s “first look” setup at Mt. Echo Park was that there was a guy playing the guitar in the background and as if on cue he started playing Elvis Pressley’s “Can’t help falling in love” as John approached Cindy. Luckily, I recorded the video of this and many other awesome moments during the day such as the limo ride, bridal enterance, dances, etc.

I cloned out the guitar virtuoso from the background, even though we all enjoyed his solos.
Check out the “I am Beautiful” sign on the post which called for this off-center composition.
On to the church
Love these truly photojournalistic moments between the parents.
Funky cake topper.
