As many of our blog readers know, we love being with our great couples. We love them so much that include an engagement session with all of our wedding coverage collections. This allows us to get to know how the couples interact and their photography preferences. Most importantly, during our two hour engagement sessions, the couples become very familiar with our style of photography. This familiarity translates into a wonderful comfort level on the wedding day.
Today’s engagement couple, one of our three couples this weekend, was actually part of the bridal party of one of my weddings from 2010. Tim and Katie reside in the historic district of Hamilton and we decided to spend sometime capturing the local architecture. Assisting me with the shoot was Angela, who used a mixture of available and fill flash lighting. I tried to concentrate on dramatic and contrasting lighting. I think the combination of both styles produced great results. We look forward to photographing their wedding in October at Lake Lyndsey Lodge.
